The Business OpsCenter 3.8.2

220 - Incompatible OpsCenter version

Top  Previous  Next
Cause
oThis occurs when the version of OpsCenter you are running is too old for the selected database file.  When a new OpsCenter client version connects to a database for the first time, OpsCenter will automatically upgrade the database file to be fully compatible with the changes made in the new client.  Because of changes made to the database file, older OpsCenter client versions may be cut off and not allowed to connect to the database.  Database changes are usually designed to maintain backwards compatibility with older OpsCenter clients but some changes are too significant to maintain backwards compatibility.

Resolution
oThe only way to resolve this is to upgrade OpsCenter to a version which is supported by the database file.  See the specific version number in the Version History about the minimum OpsCenter client version that can connect to a particular database version.
