Received Messages

All received messages are stored in the received messages folder in the Communication Manager.  In some cases, the received message will automatically popup on the screen.  (See the Preferences for customizing the popup options.)  If you have unread messages, the program icon will also blink with an icon matching the icon of the unread message type.

When there are multiple unread messages, you can click on the Next Unread Message button on the toolbar to automatically load the next unread message.   This only works for unread messages of the same type.

Received messages remain in the Communication Manager until they are manually deleted or until the message age is older than the auto-delete message age, at which time, it will be automatically deleted. The message will also be automatically archived based on the auto-archive message settings. The auto delete/archive settings can be set in the Preferences.

Sent Messages

A copy of every message sent is stored in the sent messages folder in the Communication Manager.  The original contents of the sent message cannot be modified but the message can be resent with or without changes.  To do this, double-click a sent message to open it up in an edit window.  Click on the Unlock to Edit/Resend button on the toolbar.  This will unlock the fields and allow you to change and resend the message.  This resent message is treated like a new message and a separate sent message record is saved.  The original sent message is never modified.
