Add/Edit Work Schedules

Top  Previous  Next

Works schedules provide a way of specifying the days and times an employee is scheduled to work.  This information will show up on the status table.  The option to add or edit work schedules may be disabled if your user permissions do not allow it.  This feature may be hidden if it is disabled in the System Controls.

Each work schedule record can only define a single time range for the specified days of the week.  If an employee's work schedule is such that different days of the week have different starting or ending times, then you will need to create two separate work schedule entries.  There is no limit to the number of work schedules that can be active at any one time.  (For example, you can create one work schedule entry for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday which specifies a work period from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.  You can create a second work schedule entry for Tuesday and Thursday which specifies a work period from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.)  The status table will look at all active work schedule entries to determine if you are scheduled to work at a particular time.
