The Business OpsCenter 3.8.2

Resetting the Saved Display Settings

Top  Previous  Next

When OpsCenter is closed, some of the display settings are saved in order to be able to display parts of the program the same way the next time OpsCenter is used.  There are currently three display elements that are saved.

Table columns
oWhen the column visibility, width, and order is changed for any of the tables in OpsCenter, these settings will be saved so the tables display the same way the next time OpsCenter is used.
Toolbars
oThe position of the main toolbar, control panel toolbar, and object toolbar are saved so they can be displayed in the same position the next time OpsCenter is used.
Docked windows
oThe size and position of the docked windows (filters, preview pane, etc.) are saved so they can be displayed in the same way the next time OpsCenter is used.

To reset any of these display elements, just follow these instructions:

1.Browse to the Business OpsCenter application data folder (normally "C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\Audama\OpsCenter") or click on the View App Data Files button on the Files/Paths tab in the Preferences window.
2.Close The Business OpsCenter if it is currently running.
3.Delete the file appropriate to the display element you want to reset: (OpsCenter must be closed when these files are deleted)
a)display1.ini
·Deleting this file will reset all of the table columns.  The next time OpsCenter is used, all tables will revert to their default layout.
b)display2.ini
·Deleting this file will reset the toolbar positions.  The next time OpsCenter is used, the toolbars will be displayed in their default position.
c)display3.ini
·Deleting this file will reset the docked windows.  The next time OpsCenter is used, the docked windows will revert to their default layout.
4.Restart The Business OpsCenter and the toolbar should now appear with the icons correctly displayed.  The deleted files will be automatically recreated.
