Manage Schedule Aliases

Time off/out-of-office aliases provide an additional way to categorize personal time off schedules and out-of-office schedules. There are a small number of aliases predefined but additional aliases can be added or edited using the manage alias window.

 

Add Schedule Alias
oTo add an alias, select "Manage Time Off/Out-of-Office Aliases" from the "Schedules" main menu. Then select the Add Alias tab. The Add Time Off/Out-of-Office Alias form provides the following fields for completion:
oAlias name
This field allows you to enter a name for the alias. The alias name must be unique.
oIs Out-of-Office alias / Is Personal Time Off alias
These controls allow you to specify whether the alias is listed under alias option of the out-of-office or personal time off schedule items. At least one schedule type must be selected.
oColor on calendar
This control allows you to choose the color that the schedule item will appear on the calendars.

 

Edit Schedule Alias
oTo edit an alias, select "Manage Time Off/Out-of-Office Aliases" from the "Schedules" main menu. Then select the Edit/Delete Alias tab. When a change has been made, it must be saved in order to take effect. Some of the built-in aliases cannot be modified or deleted.
