▪ | On the calendar main window tab, each of the calendar views (grid, day, week, month, year) can be printed by selecting the "Print Calendar" option in the "Additional Controls" section to the left of the calendar. Due to technical reasons, the printing options and features vary between the different calendar views. |
▪ | Most tables in Personnel Folders can be printed. To do so, simply select the "Print Table" option in the "Additional Controls" section to the left of the table. You can then set up the page settings as well as display a print preview before the actual printing takes place. |
▪ | Each individual schedule item can be printed by right-clicking the item (either on the table or on the calendar) and selecting the "Print" option. The information that is printed for the item is the same as what is displayed when the "View" option is selected from the right-click menu. |
▪ | Most tables in Personnel Folders can be exported. To do so, simply select the "Export Table" option in the "Additional Controls" section to the left of the table. The data from the table will then be exported to a text-based file in the format specified in the Export Table window. The options for controlling how the data is exported are: |
► | This determines how the individual record fields (columns of data) are separated. |
► | This determines how the individual records (rows or data) are separated. |
► | If set, the names of each column will be outputted as the first "record". |
► | If set, the text specified in the title lines will be outputted to the top of the output file. |
► | If set, the fields that are recognized as string fields (such as names, descriptions, additional information, etc.) will be outputted with quotes around the text. This allows either the field or record delimiters to appear within a string without it being interpreted as a delimiter. |
► | If set, only the fields that are currently visible on the table will be outputted. If not set, all fields, even the hidden ones, will be outputted. |
► | These lines allow you to specify the text that will appear at the top of the output file. |
► | Click "Browse" to specify the path and file name for where you want to store the outputted data. By default, the file type is set to "txt" but you are free to use whatever file type you wish. |
TIP: The default settings for the Export Table window are set so that the format of the text file will be automatically recognized by a spreadsheet program, such as Microsoft Excel. If the output file is opened in a program such as Excel, the records and fields will automatically be mapped into rows and columns in the spreadsheet.
