Scheduled events provide a way of specifying an event that will take place for a group of employees. This information will show up on the calendars. The option to add or edit scheduled events may be disabled if your user permissions do not allow it. This feature may be hidden if it is disabled in the System Controls.
o | Click on the Add Scheduled Event button on the Object Toolbar or from the Action menu to bring up an add window. Just complete the provided fields and click on the Add Scheduled Event button. There is no limit to how many scheduled events can be created. |
o | Double-click on the schedule in the table to bring it up in an edit window. Make any applicable changes and click on the Save and Close button in the menu or toolbar. |
o | Select the schedule you wish to delete and click the Delete button in the Object Toolbar. You can also delete a schedule by right-clicking the schedule on the table and selecting the Delete option. Another option is to click the Delete button in the toolbar when editing the schedule. |
When adding or editing a scheduled event, the following fields are available:
o | This field allows you to enter a name for the event. |
o | This field is for information purposes only. It allows you to enter a location for the event. |
o | This field is for information purposes only. It allows you to enter a description of the event. |
o | These controls determine the start and end date/time for the event. |

o | These controls provide a little extra flexibility when for display options. For example, enabling this option and selecting <NO GROUP> in the "Display For" control allows you to create an event that only displays for the creator and nobody else. |
o | This control determines who will be able to see the scheduled event. The list is based on the global groups that have been set up in the system. |
o | This field is for information purposes only. It is does not have any effect on how the scheduled event is handled in the system. The priority field on the event calendar will display the priority of the event. |
