The Communication Manager window provides a way to view and manage all of a user's messages in a system. To open the Communication Manager window, select Communication Manager from the Main Toolbar or select Open Communication Manager from the View menu. The following message types can be managed from the Communication Manager: Bulletin board posts, sent/received notes, sent/received phone messages, sent/received vacation requests, and sent received PTO requests. The following docked panes are available in this window:

| o | This is where the type of message to display in the table can be selected. Message types will not be listed if they are disabled in the System Controls. |
| • | Message Filters & Controls |
| o | This is where employee filters can be applied. Also, the display range of messages on the table can be controlled here. |
| • | Message Preview |
| o | This pane will show a summary of the currently selected message. |
